The EPP Group has always been staunch supporter of social justice: people are at the top of our priorities. We firmly believe that economic growth is the foundation for creating the wealth to support and sustain our European social models. Especially now during the period of economic downturn we aim to promote quality employment by creating an environment conducive to investment, innovation and entrepreneurialism. We never stop stressing the need for life-long learning to strengthen employability. We clearly know that an employment-friendly agenda will enhance social cohesion, as previously marginalised segments of society are integrated into the workplace...
